The candidate should be excited about joining a growing business. You will join a small dynamic team and will need to have excellent telephone skills, attention to detail and understand the importance of personal service.

Description of Vacancy

Full training will be provided to enable the candidate to carry out the following duties

· Sort and distribute incoming mail and dispatch outgoing mail
· Compose and send business correspondence via Word and Email (Outlook)
· Deal with telephone enquiries from customers, attend to visitors and assist other staff in the organisation with their enquiries
· Research and collate data
· Inputting of data into Case Management System
· Order products and services from supplier companies and Local Authorities
· Operate a range of office machines such as photocopiers, scanners and computers
· File papers and documents
· Undertake other duties such as producing invoices and basic book keeping

Training will be given in all aspects of the position, with regular feedback to ensure that the successful candidate is supported in their progress.

Candidate Qualities

The following abilities are required:
1. A good telephone manner
2. Confidence in asking questions and verifying information
3. Professional attitude and presentation; polite, calm and customer-focussed
4. Ability to source information from websites and via the telephone
5. Computer literacy; Word, One note, Publisher and Excel skills would be a bonus, but not a requirement. The ability to type accurately is important
6. Working as part of a small team in a larger organisation, inter office relationships are important for order processing, so the candidate should be helpful by nature and be able to provide assistance to other offices.
7. Attention to detail and inquisitive in nature
8. Working to deadlines so excellent time management skills required

Office Hours
We are flexible in terms of the hours worked and can fit around the candidates preferred hours.
The office is open Mon-Fri 8.30 to 17.30

Hourly Rate
We offer the National Living Wage (age specific).
