Application Support - XML, API, Support

*Application Support (XML, API, Support) required by world leading ecommerce firm based in London*

One of the biggest and most successful ecommerce firms in London are currently on the lookout for an Application Support (XML, API, Support) to join a team in supporting clientele using XML based services as well as acting as a technical point of contact between external client teams and internal project implementation and product development teams.

Upon joining, the Application Support (XML, API, Support) will be responsible for ensuring all requests for support from clients are fulfilled successfully the Application Support will visit customer sites as well as take calls when issues arise and either look to resolve them or escalate to development teams. The Application Support (XML, API, Support) will also act as a subject matter expert to answer questions from clients and other business units.

In terms of skills, we are looking for Application Support's (XML, API, Support) who have experience of supporting XML based services as well as working with API's. Any understanding of programming languages and best practices would be highly desirable, although not essential.

It must be noted that this opportunity does involve some travel to client sites they can be based in and around Europe and the role may be up to 40% travel based.

If you have ever preformed the role of a business analyst, either in a formal or informal way, this would be a massive benefit as one of the career paths moving forward from this role is Tech BA.

This opportunity would suit an Application Support (XML, API, Support) who has experience of supporting XML based services who is looking to move in to a more consultative, subject matter expert type role. The Application Support (XML, API, Support) will be responsible for looking after mission critical queries from clients of the firm, so this is an extremely integral role in the company's success.
