Part Time P.A. – 16.5 hours per week

Purpose of the Job: To provide a high quality secretarial and administrative support service to the Directors and Senior Management Team

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual who is looking for a challenging role. The PA will be required to work closely with the Managing Director and other Directors, providing key administrative support.
The successful candidate will be able to manage and prioritise their own workload, problem solve and react quickly to issues when they arise. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite, with particular attention to Excel. The ability to deal professionally with internal and external customers both face-to-face and by telephone is essential.

Key Tasks:
• Diary management for the 3 Directors
• Organising, supporting and following up the Directors board meetings
• Ensuring that completed documents have been produced to an appropriately high standard
• Email management, including printing/distributing/filing emails as appropriate and dealing with queries in Directors absence
• Travel arrangements for international and local client meetings
• Responsible for all room bookings and any catering needs
• Day to day administrative tasks to ensure smooth running of the office; dealing with service departments, organising photocopying and printing and management of stationary stock.
• Responsible for managing internal suppliers including copiers, phones and IT
• Delivering ad-hoc small projects from time to time
• Act as key point of contact to the Part Time HR Director
• In MD’s absence take instruction from MD to take forward certain aspects of the role accordingly
• Introduce and report on accurate and useful management information

Key Strengths:
• Excellent verbal and written English
• Technical skills to include fast, accurate typing and data inputting with experience of Windows based packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Highly organised, with an excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, flexible and helpful.

• Positive, professional attitude, and able to remain calm under pressure and sometimes a demanding working environment
• Effective communication and ability to deal with senior members of the team and clients

Due to the rural location of the business, candidates must have own transport.

The working hours are 9.30am – 2.30pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (16.5 hours) with a competitive package including an hourly rate of £10.00 per hour, Pension and Bonus scheme.
