Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Receptionist / Administration Support to join a Macclesfield based law firm specialising in Family Law. You will possess good administration and organisational skills. You will also have strong communications skills including a positive telephone manner. Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Roles and Responsibilities

Managing a busy reception and answering all telephone calls in a professional manner
Dealing with initial queries and transferring them appropriately
Booking, setting up and maintaining the meeting room
Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post
Ordering and maintaining stationery and general office supplies
Photocopying, scanning and filing
Preparing court bundles
Running errands within and outside of the office
General office administration tasks as directed
Any other ad hoc duties as and when required

Preferred Skills & Experience

Previous reception experience desirable
Strong administrative skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently deal with clients both face to face and on the telephone
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively
IT literate; comfortable maintaining spread sheets and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office; including Excel, Word and Outlook
Smart and well presented
