We are looking for a positive communicator with great administration and networking skills to help lead our volunteer programme in delivering quality results for volunteers and the people we support. We currently have 300 volunteers supporting a variety of people and projects, volunteering around 41,000 hours per week. This role wil be key in engaging with our volunteer team, new recruits and the community at large.

You will be responsible for coordinating all elements of volunteering and work experience within the charity. You will build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support colleagues with the recruitment, placement, induction and retention of volunteers, developing processes and initiatives to underpin volunteer management. In addition this role will actively promote volunteering through social media and events and develop community links with corporate, statutory and voluntary organisations including local colleges and businesses, to support students in work experience or offer employee volunteering opportunities.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential as is a driving licence and use of a vehicle.
