Company: Masters Traditional Games.
An Internet shop specialising in traditional pub games, board games, outdoor games etc. A growing small business, Masters Traditional Games has been trading for 16 years.

Job Description
Packing up orders and sending via courier or post.
Accepting and recording incoming stock shipments
Resolving problems with stock and returns
Entering invoices
Taking marketing pictures of products for website
Ad-hoc tasks (some trivial, some more complex) for Managing Director. For example, buying provisions, running errands or entering product data into a database.

The job is heavily reliant on computers, all of the tasks involve the use of software. Candidates must find using a PC easy.

The job entails occasionally dealing with heavy parcels – although assistance is available.


Minimum Wage.
No additional perks beyond statutory
Payment will normally be monthly by BACS.
Overtime beyond normal hours will be by agreement and paid at the same rate.

Job Environment

The office and warehouse is at 227B Hatfield Road, St. Albans, AL1 4TB..

Default Hours

9am – 5pm for 4 - 5 days per week with half an hour for lunch

There is some flexibility in regards of standard hours and they may also be varied slightly on a week to week basis if required. For instance the start time could be moved to 8am or 2 half days could be done instead of 1 whole day.

Job Requirements


Good written English
Articulate and polite
Very comfortable working with computers. Experienced with Email, browsing the Internet explorer and Internet shopping.
Responsible & reliable attitude
Must be comfortable working alone, if required
Evidence of academic achievement e.g. A grades at O level, GCSE, A level or a Degree or some other achievement to demonstrate ability.

An interest in games (board games or traditional games, not computer games!)
